By Tata Motors officially commenced bookings of the Tiago and Tigor CNG automatic variants in India as the launch is expected to take place in the coming weeks. The company has started dispatching the initial batch to dealerships across the country. Now the Tiago CNG AMT has been spotted at a dealership yard ahead of the launch. The Indian manufacturer is going to offer the Tiago CNG AMT in three variants – XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG.
The Tiago CNG AMT will be loaded with features as the company has already proved with Altroz that customers prefer top-end variants as it is more convenient. Some of the features on the Tiago CNG AMT include auto-folding mirrors, projector headlamps, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a reverse camera with parking sensors, Harman audio system, rear-ac vents and more.
Both the Tiago CNG automatic and Tigor CNG automatic are powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine found in their manual variants. This engine produces 73.4 PS at 6000 RPM and 95 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM in CNG mode, and 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque in petrol mode. The Tiago and Tigor CNG will come with twin-cylinder technology, which optimizes space utilization in the boot, ensuring ample luggage capacity.
