By Maruti Suzuki Fronx is one of the best-selling models of the company in India and now the company has introduced a new special edition model called the Velocity. Recently the sales of the Fronx crossed one lakh units in the Indian market this milestone makes it one of the fastest models to reach it in a short amount of time. The Velocity is an accessory package which is available for Delta+, Zeta, or Alpha variants and it comes at an additional price of Rs. 43,000. The total number of accessories offered on the Velocity is 16.
The accessories available on the Velocity include a grey and black exterior styling kit, door visors, ORVM cover, headlamp garnish, body side moulding, illuminated door sill guard, red dash designed mat, NeXCross Bordeaux sleeve seat cover, 3D boot mat, spoiler extender, wheel arch garnish, front grille garnish and an interior styling kit with carbon finish. During the launch, Maruti Suzuki offered some accessories for the Fronx and now they have expanded the options, which makes these particular variants even more special.
Currently, the Fronx has three engine choices: a 1.2-litre petrol, a bi-fuel CNG, and a 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo petrol (GDI). The 1.2 L K-Series engine produces 88 PS of power while the 1.0 L booster jet engine produces 100 PS. This engine is mated to either manual or automatic gearbox options. The Fronx is offered in five variants – Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. The popular option among customers is the 1.2 L K-Series engine while the CNG version is also a favoured option.
