Skoda Compact SUV Spied With Rivals

Skoda continues to test the new sub-four metre compact SUV across different parts of the country. The latest spy shot video of the compact SUV was taken in Mumbai traffic as the company might be testing to see how the vehicle performs in slow-moving bumper-to-bumper traffic. The prototype is heavily camouflaged like the earlier ones as they want to hide details before the launch but still, we can make out some elements. The overall design theme of the compact SUV is similar to other Skoda models like Kushaq and Kodiaq.

The front gets the signature grille of Skoda along with split LED headlamps as LED DRL is placed on the top and the headlamps are positioned below. The front bumper design is also similar to what we have seen on the Kushaq. This particular test mule appears to be a middle-spec variant as it doesn’t get alloy wheels along with a rear defogger and wiper. The side design is simple with roof rails and the rear gets C-shape LED tail lamps, which look similar to the Taigun the bumper design is also new and the company has given an integrated spoiler.

The interior is not yet revealed but the compact SUV comes with a fully digital instrument cluster and it could be a similar unit from the Kushaq while the infotainment system is expected to be the 10-inch unit with the latest software of Skoda. The compact SUV will be packed with features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, wireless charger, sunroof, rear AC vents and more. The compact SUV will be powered by a 1.0 L TSI engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed torque convertor. The launch will take place next year.
