By Lexus officially launched NX 350h Overtrail Edition in India at the starting price of Rs. 71.17 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). When compared to the regular model, Lexus has made some tweaks to make the special edition unique. The NX is available in three variants – Exquisite, Luxury and F-Sport. The Overtrail Edition is positioned above the entry-level model Exquisite. One of the major new introductions as part of the Overtrail Edition is the new Moon Desert colour and it looks similar to the Thar Earth Edition, which was launched last month but the Lexus colour theme is slightly darker.
Apart from the new exterior colour, the company has changed the chrome finish on the grille, wing mirrors, door handles and roof rails to black, which gives a sporty look to the SUV. The Overtrail Edition comes with a new set of alloy wheels and the tyres are different from the regular model. Lexus offers 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/50 section tyres while the Overtrail Edition gets 18-inch alloy wheels with a different design along with 235/60 section tyres. According to Lexus, the smaller wheels with these new tyres improve comfort over broken roads.
The interior is shared with the regular NX 350h but the Overtrail Edition comes with a synthetic black leather interior and the company has added the same moon desert colour theme on the front armrest, seat edges and door panel. Some of the features on the NX 350h include Mark Levinson’s 17-speaker audio system, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, ADAS and more. The NX 350h Overtrail Edition is powered by a 2.5 L hybrid engine with two electric motors producing 243 hp and mated to a 6-speed CVT gearbox.
