BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe Facelift With Mild-Hybrid System Revealed

BMW officially revealed the 4 Series Gran Coupe facelift. One of the most notable updates is the incorporation of a mild-hybrid system into the 430i Gran Coupe, marking a significant step towards improved efficiency without compromising power. Paired with the existing 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, this enhancement elevates the driving dynamics while reducing emissions. Additionally, the Miller cycle implementation further enhances fuel efficiency, making each drive not only exhilarating but also environmentally conscious.

For the M440i Gran Coupe, enthusiasts can anticipate a boost in power, with the mild-hybrid system contributing to an increase in horsepower and torque. This means an even more spirited driving experience, accentuated by seamless power delivery and enhanced responsiveness on the road. Visually, both the 4 Series Gran Coupe and the i4 receive subtle yet striking updates, including redesigned headlights and laser taillights borrowed from the M4 CSL, adding a touch of sophistication to their exterior aesthetics.

Inside the cabin, drivers are greeted with refreshed steering wheel options and the latest iteration of BMW’s iDrive infotainment system, ensuring seamless connectivity and intuitive control over various vehicle functions. While the overall changes may appear modest, they serve to refine an already exceptional driving experience. With production slated to commence in July, BMW is expected to commence deliveries in August. We can expect BMW to introduce the updated 4 Series sometime next year in the Indian market.
