Royal Enfield Bullet 650 In The Works, Launch Expected Next Year

Royal Enfield is planning to expand its portfolio as the models will depend on either the new J-series with the 350 cc or the bigger 650 cc engine, which runs on the Interceptor and Continental Series. According to a newly leaked document, we can confirm that the company is currently developing a 650 cc variant of the Bullet. The new motorcycle will be developed along with a bobber and adventure while the flagship is expected to be the rumoured fully faired variant of Continental GT 650.

The leaked document doesn’t reveal much about the Bullet 650 but some details can be confirmed as the styling will be similar to the earlier Bullet series as they want to continue the traditional styling, which makes it unique compared to the rivals. The Bullet 650 is expected to come with spoke wheels instead of alloy wheels and the biggest addition is the pillion seat, which will appeal to many buyers. Most of the engine along with exhaust components will be shared with other 650 cc models to keep costs down.

In terms of equipment, we are not expecting anything fancy as it will be simple and could share with the new Classic 350 series. Another interesting model will be the bobber series, we know how popular the Jawa 42 Bobber so Royal Enfield is following the same route but this will be positioned as a premium model. The long-awaited adventure and fully-faired models are also in the works. The next imminent launch will be the Super Meteor 650.
