By Skoda officially announced that the company is going to increase across its portfolio from January 1, 2024. The price hike is 2 per cent and exact details of variant-wise break-up are expected to be shared by the end of this month. Like all other manufacturers, Skoda is also offering lots of discounts across its portfolio to increase sales as the Kodiaq and Slavia come with discounts of up to Rs. 1.5 Lakh. The company had already reduced the price of both models earlier this year as the portfolio starts at Rs. 10.49 lakh.
Recently the company introduced limited edition variants of Slavia and Kushaq in the Indian market called the Elegance Edition. The exterior of the Slavia Elegance Edition is adorned with a captivating black finish, complemented by generous chrome accents. Chrome is tastefully applied on the grille, the tailgate, and the door mouldings, creating a striking contrast that adds to the sedan’s elegance and sophistication. The Kushaq Elegane Edition is also finished in black along with chrome accents, particularly noticeable on the grille. The Elegance badge on the B-pillars further emphasizes the exclusivity of this edition. The Monte Carlo variant, in particular, receives an added touch of flair with the inclusion of 17-inch Vega alloy wheels.
The Elegance Edition is based on Style Trim and some of the new features include door sill scuff plates, new mats, and aluminium pedals, providing a touch of opulence. Elegance badges grace the steering wheels and cushions, underscoring the exclusive nature of this edition. Both these models are powered by a 1.5 L TSI engine producing 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, this engine is mated to manual and automatic gearbox options. The Slavia Elegance Edition price starts at Rs. 17.52 Lakh and Rs. 18.31 Lakh for the Kushaq Elegance Edition.
