The latest to join this long list is Volkswagen as the German manufacturer officially announced that the price across the portfolio will be increased by 2 per cent, which comes into effect from January 1, 2024. The reason for the price hike is rising input costs and material costs, which forced the company to increase the price and pass it to customers, which was expected.

The Tiguan is the flagship model of Volkswagen and the SUV comes with a maximum discount of Rs. 4.20 lakh, which includes a Rs. 75,000 cash discount, a Rs. 75,000 ex-change bonus and a Rs. 1 lakh corporate discount. Along with this, the company is offering 4 years of service package worth Rs. 85,499 and a special discount of Rs. 84,000.
The Taigun come with a discount of up to Rs. 1.46 lakh, which includes Rs. 40,000 cash discount and Rs. 40,000 exchange bonus. The company is also offering a Rs. 30,000 corporate bonus and a special discount of Rs. 36,000. The Virtus sedan gets a discount of up to Rs. 1.17 lakh as it includes a Rs. 50,000 cash discount and a Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus while the corporate discount is Rs. 17,000 and a special discount of Rs. 30,000. These special schemes are applicable only this month.
