Tata Motors has reached a significant milestone with the production of its 9,00,000th vehicle at its state-of-the-art facility in Lucknow. Situated across a sprawling 600 acres, Tata’s Lucknow plant stands as a testament to sustainable manufacturing practices. Moreover, with a 6 MW solar power plant onsite, the facility is a shining example of harnessing renewable energy for sustainable production. Established in 1992, the Lucknow facility has played a pivotal role in Tata Motors’ journey, producing a diverse range of vehicles spanning commercial, passenger, and electric segments. From cargo and passenger commercial vehicles to electric and fuel cell electric buses, the plant has been at the forefront of innovation, catering to evolving market demands.

Equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technology, the Lucknow plant boasts ultra-modern production stations, including a robotic paint booth and a body-in-white shop featuring robotic spot welding.
