Mercedes Benz G 500 Final Edition Revealed To Mark The End of V8 Engine

Mercedes Benz officially revealed the G 500 Final Edition to mark the end of V8 engine with the G 500 Series as the German manufacturer introduced the V8 with the G Wagon for the first time in 1993 and it has been extremely popular among customers. But G Wagon fan don’t worry the V8 engine won’t exit from the lineup as the G63 will continue to use the V8 engine until the next generation.

The Special Edition model is available in three colour options – Obsidian Black, Opalith White Magno and Olive Magno. The G 500 Final Edition will be limited to just 500 units for each colour options and the latter two colours are from the manufaktur lineup. On the outside the only change is the new 20-inch 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels and they are finished in Olive Magno paint shade.

The key of the G 500 Final Edition gets special G logo on the back and Strong Than Time is projected on the road after unlocking the G Wagon. The interior is finished in Nappa leather and the seats also get unique texture. Mercedes has also added Burmester hifi surround sound system with the special edition. The V8 engine on the G 500 produce just 421 hp and 610 Nm which is way less than the AMG model. We are not sure whether the limited edition model will come to India.
