By BYD unveils the special edition model of the Atto 3 in the country at the 2023 auto expo. The special edition model comes with the new forest green colour that is limited to only 1200 units. The BYD special edition comes with an added premium of INR 50,000 in the country. On the special edition, BYD hasn’t brought many updates or newly added features in the vehicle it is just a new added color option. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the special edition is available with all variants or will be limited to just the top-end variant. The vehicle was launched with limited colours that include Ski White, Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, and Surf Blue.
BYD Atto 3 was launched in the country on November 2022. The vehicle is the second model introduced by the brand in the country and it offers more tech and features than the first model e6. The vehicle is positioned as a premium electric vehicle. Atto 3 continues with the 204PS electric motor that is matted with a 60kWh battery pack. Its Blade battery pack boasts an ARAI-claimed range of 521km and supports fast charging speeds of up to 80kW. The vehicle is priced at a starting of INR 33.99 lakh ex showroom. The standard version of the first batch Atto 3 commenced its delevery today on 11 January 2023.
