By Audi A6 is the second-best-selling sedan in its segment as the company is offering attractive schemes and offers to lure buyers from competitors. The German manufacturer is planning to introduce the A6 facelift version next year in the Indian market. Globally, Audi introduced the A6 facelift in May the changes for the premium sedan are minor compared to some of its rivals as the next-generation of the A6 is currently under development and among the German sedans it is the oldest model.
The exterior design theme of the A6 facelift is similar to what we have seen on the current model as the changes are subtle. One of the major changes is the updation of the LED DRLs which looks cleaner than the earlier model and the Matrix LED lighting has also given a refresh. The single-frame grille also comes with minor tweaks and it looks even more wider than the earlier model. Audi has updated the front bumper which looks meaner and we can expect the company to offer the S version for a sporty theme.
The changes to the side are limited to just new alloy wheels while the rear gets tweaked LED tail lamps and a new bumper. The interior design theme has been retained but the sedan will come with a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an updated infotainment system. Audi might offer level-II ADAS features which will make it more convenient for customers. The A6 will be powered by a 2.0 L turbo petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system that produces 245 hp and the power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
