Audi Officially Revealed New Q6 E-Tron

Audi officially revealed the new Q6 E-Tron. At the heart of the new Q6 E-Tron is Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, shared with the Porsche Macan EV. This platform, making its debut under the Audi badge, employs an 800-volt system housing two electric motors predominantly biased towards the rear, ensuring both power and vehicle weight are optimally distributed. Audi is offering the Q6 E-Tron in two trims—the standard Q6 and the performance-oriented SQ6—both variants are equipped with a 100-kWh battery pack.

The SQ6 variant packs a punch with 483 horsepower, which can be further boosted to 510 hp with launch control, propelling the SUV from 0 to 100 kph in 4.2 seconds. Meanwhile, the standard Q6 impresses with a respectable 5.0-second sprint time. As for range, Audi estimates an impressive 482 Km for the standard Q6, showcasing the efficiency of its electric drivetrain. However, it’s not just raw power and range that defines the Q6 E-Tron; Audi’s commitment to technological innovation shines through its advanced features.

The vehicle’s End-to-End Electronic (E3) architecture integrates AI-driven assistants, offering proactive suggestions and personalized experiences based on user behaviour. The cabin is adorned with a plethora of digital displays, including a centre 14.5-inch screen featuring an AI avatar, an 11.9-inch driver display, and a 10.9-inch passenger screen, all seamlessly interconnected to provide a futuristic driving experience. We can expect the Q6 E-Tron sometime next year in the Indian market.
