2023 Hyundai Venue To Get More Safety, Power and Tech

The Korean manufacturer Hyundai is preparing to bring a refresh to its entire line-up. The manufacturer has already brought the refresh of Grand i10 Nios and Aura in the country and now the brand is preparing to bring an update to the Venue with more features that include more safety, more power and more tech. Hyundai is a company that never fails to bring updates to its models. In fact, the regular updates on models made Hyundai a brand moving along with time, design and technology. The brand brought the updated venue back in June 2022 and brought the N line of the car in September 2022. So for 2023 update the vehicle is not expected to get a cosmetic change it will be more rather concentrated on the internals.

Sources convey that the car will be equipped with 4 airbags as standard for improved safety. The vehicle will also feature an integrated starter generator that will help the car in fuel saving with an engine start/stop function. And for the year 2023, the BS6 emission norms are coming into action from April onwards so it’s really important for the car to comply with BS6 emission norms on real driving conditions. Hence the diesel engine of the vehicle is expected to get an update to the higher-tuned engine from Creta. Currently, both the Creta and Venue use the same diesel engine but the engine in Venue is slightly detuned. Hence to save money the manufacturer is only making the diesel engine in Creta to comply with BS6 norms. Which will be then carried to the Venue. The 115 ps diesel engine variant will help Venu’s position to far more superior in the market.

The 2023 Venue will be powered by 3 engines. 2 petrol and 1 diesel. The car gets the brand’s bread and butter 1.2 litre Kappa Na petrol engine that produces 83 ps power and 113 Nm of torque and it also gets the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 120 ps power and 172 Nm of torque. The current 1.5-litre diesel engine of the vehicle produces only 100 ps power and 240 Nm of torque which is gonna be replaced by the higher tuned 1.5-litre diesel in Creta that produces 115 ps power. However, the Venue diesel will not be offered in automatic transmission. Along with the update of the car, the prices of the vehicle are also likely to be hiked. The Venue rivals the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon. And stands in the third position in the market. The updated Venue is likely to be unveiled soon.
