By Volkswagen finally launched the Virtus GT Manual option in India as the company had already showcased it earlier this year. The Virtus GT was earlier offered only with a DSG gearbox and now the 1.5 L TSI engine gets a proper 6-speed manual gearbox which the enthusiasts have been waiting for a long time. The Virtus GT Plus manual is priced at Rs. 16.89 lakh, which will make it more accessible and Skoda had already offered this configuration with Slavia.
The German manufacturer is offering this same configuration with Taigun as the GT Plus variant of the SUV also gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and the lower variants with a 1.5 L TSI engine get the option of a DSG gearbox too. The Taigun GT DSG has priced at Rs. 16.79 lakh and Rs. 17.79 lakh for the new GT Plus manual variant. Apart from this, Volkswagen also introduced GT Edge Limited Collection in which the Taigun gets two new colours – Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Stee Grey Matte finish while the Virtus will only get the Deep Black Pearl colour option.
