Upto Four Weeks Of Waiting Period For Tata Safari

Tata Motors introduced the updated Safari soon after the Auto Expo in January and the new model comes with much-needed new infotainment system and instrument cluster. Along with this, Tata Motor also introduced Dark Red edition and according to reports, the waiting period of Safari extend to four weeks (in Mumbai) and it could vary depending on the region but most dealers have similar waiting period.

The Safari will retain the 2.0 L diesel engine sourced from Jeep with 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor from Hyundai. We are not expecting the petrol-powered Harrier/Safari to be introduced this time as the company is still developing the petrol version. The price is expected to be slightly higher than the outgoing model.
