By BYD officially introduced an update for Atto 3 in global markets as it is one of the best-selling models of the company in many markets even in India too. The changes for the Atto 3 are mostly cosmetics rather than mechanical. The design theme of the updated Atto 3 is exactly similar to the outgoing model but the company has added a new cosmos black colour, which was not available earlier the window surroundings get a black finish instead of chrome but the D-pillar gets a silver finish, which looks good as it stands out.
The changes to the side are limited to just a new set of alloy wheels which are 18-inch units and the design theme is also different from the current model. One of the major changes at the rear is the new BYD logo instead of the Build Your Dreams lettering on the earlier model. The Atto 3 is one of the good-looking models in its segment and the addition of a black finish gives a sporty look to the electric SUV. Even though the changes are subtle, the addition of black elements does elevate the look.
The interior design is similar to the earlier model as the only major change is the new 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the recently launched Seal instead of the 12.8-inch unit. This screen can be used either vertically or horizontally and the company has given dark blue and black colours for the interior. BYD has added an intelligent start system in which the driver needs to just press the brake pedal to start the Atto 3. The battery pack details are yet to be revealed and the official launch could take place later.
