By Toyota is going to expand the non-hybrid variant lineup of the Innova Hycross. Currently, the Innova Hycross is available in G (for commercial only), GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O). The new variant is going to be positioned above the entry-level model and comes with a lot more features compared to the current model. The GX (O) is available in either 7 or 8-seater options while the major new feature of the MPV is the introduction of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system as it gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The system also gets the feed from the 360-degree camera and it comes with the latest software from Toyota. Apart from this, the company has added single-zone climate control, rear sunshade, rear defogger, LED fog lamps, parking sensors and more. The Innova Hycross GX (O) also gets soft-touch materials on the dashboard and it is finished in a dual-tone shade. These features certainly make the non-hybrid variant of the Innova Hycross much more attractive as most customers prefer to Hybrid model.
The company has not yet revealed the price of the new variant as it is expected to be announced in the coming days as they have already listed the MPV on the official website. The non-hybrid model of the Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0 L four-cylinder engine producing 172 hp of power and 209 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox only. The MPV is also available with a 2.0 L petrol hybrid engine with 183 hp and 188 Nm, this engine also comes with the option of a CVT gearbox.
