Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Launch Delayed In India

Hyundai was expected to launch the Alcazar facelift soon in the Indian market as it is based on the Creta, which recently got its facelift version and it has been so popular among customers. According to new reports, the company has delayed the launch of the Alcazar facelift in the Indian market because it is not one of the high-selling models of Hyundai in India. The average monthly sales of the Alcazar is around 1500 units while the Creta is more than 10,000 units and so many stocks are still available across dealerships which is one reason for the delay of launch.

The Korean manufacturer is expected to keep the overall body design the same as it will increase costs considerably. The Alcazar could get a redesigned front grille along with new LED headlamps. Hyundai designers could play with the bumper too as we can expect a new profile. The side design will be the same as the current model while the rear gets new LED tail lamps and they could be connected like those on the Creta. Apart from this, Hyundai is expected to introduce some new colour options on the Alcazar.

The interior design theme of the Alcazar facelift model will be different as the dashboard will be dominated by dual 10.25-inch screens placed under a single panel like those on the Mercedes Benz. The infotainment system will be the same as those on the Creta along with new software. Hyundai will pack the Alcazar with features that are already available on the Creta and one of the major new additions could be the level-II ADAS. The Alcazar will be powered by the same petrol and diesel engines as the current model.
