Tata Safari Facelift Spied Again

Tata Safari Facelift Spied Again

Tata Motors is working on a heavily updated version of Safari and Harrier. The test mule of both these models has been spotted multiple times across the country and this time, the Safari facelift test mule was spotted during the road test. Like previous spy shots, the test mule is camouflaged heavily to hide details but the front gets a major revamp as the LED DRLs will be full-length instead of the smaller ones on the current model.

We have already seen this design theme on the Harrier EV showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. The headlamps cluster are also different as they are placed vertically and have somewhat similar design theme to the MG Hector. The grille might get some changes too along with the bumper while the changes for the side include new alloy wheels. The rear gets new LED tail lamps and it could be full-length like the DRL on the front.

The interior is also expected to get major updates as the new infotainment system and instrument cluster is already available on both SUVs but the dashboard design will be changed. Apart from this, Tata might add proper level II ADAS system on the Safari and Harrier. The engine lineup might finally include a turbo-petrol engine and the same diesel engine from the current model will be carried over. Some rumours indicate that Safari could get four-wheel drive system also.
