The Panoramic Sunroof comes with features like Global Close after parking along with Anti-Pinch and Rain Sensing Closure.

The company has also added black coating on the panoramic sunroof glass along with Rollover Screen. Apart from the introduction of the sunroof, the features remain to be same. The Harrier comes with features like touch screen infotainment system, LED DRLs, leather seats, automatic climate control, reverse parking camera, keyless entry, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear AC vents, Digital MID on the instrument cluster and more.

Tata Motors has also focused on safety too as the Harrier comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Traction Control and more. The Harrier is powered by 2.0 L diesel engine sourced from FCA producing 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox sourced from Hyundai. The Harrier comes with Terrain response system, which comes from Land Rover even though Harrier doesn’t offer four-wheel-drive system.

The recent introduction of the automatic transmission has helped Tata Motors to improve sales of Harrier along with updated features. Tata Motors is also planning to introduce a 7-seat variant of Harrier, which was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and it is christened as Gravitas. The launch of Gravitas is delayed due to COVID-19 crisis and it is expected to reach our market behind the end of this year. For more updates from the Industry follow Pilot On Wheels.
