By Tata Motors clearly know how to make products in the limelight as they keep on introducing various special edition or limited editions. Now it is time for yet another limited edition Harrier and it has been spotted at a dealership with a red Interior. This will be the fifth special edition of the Harrier after the dark, camo, Kaziranga and jet edition. This special edition looks like a sporty updation to the dark edition model with red accents in and around it. However, this is only a special edition of the current model, whereas the facelift of the Harrier and Safari is expected to debut next year soon
The new special edition comes with a black exterior just like the dark edition model but differentiated with a red accent in the front grille and red brake calliper. The interior however looks sporty with red seats and a red grab handle coupled with glossy black finishes over the dashboard and door panels. Tata Motors used to bring quite a few updates with each edition model therefore the new edition is expected to offer ventilated and six-way electrically adjustable front seats. The power train remains the same, it is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
Tata Harrier has aged quite well in the market and Tata motors are preparing to bring a midlife update to the model. The test mule of the facelifted vehicle is spotted in the country with a radar placement at the lower bumper which shows that the facelift Harrier will be equipped with ADAS features. offering safety features such as blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system and more. It will also get a 360-degree camera along with a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Noticeable changes will also be made on the exterior, while the engine setup will remain intact. More details of the facelift and the special edition will be unveiled soon at the 2023 auto expo.
