Maruti Suzuki Updates Baleno With Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Maruti Suzuki officially rolled out a new update for the Baleno infotainment system, which enables wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along with this OTA (Over The Air) update, turn-by-turn navigation details will be also available on the MID screen on the instrument cluster and head-up display. Earlier this year, the company also already introduced this update on the Vitara Brezza. The Swift-maker had promised this update during the media drive even though it took some time to release it but still it’s a good thing.

The update is available only on the Alpha and Zeta variants. In the current generation, most people live around their smartphone and connecting them wireless makes it a lot easier as people don’t need to carry an extra cable. We can expect other Maruti models with the latest infotainment system and software to get these updates in the coming months. The Baleno is powered by a 1.2 L K-Series petrol engine with 88 hp and 113 Nm mated to either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox options.
