Tata Harrier Facelift Officially Launched In India At Rs. 15.49 Lakh

Tata Motors officially launched the Harrier facelift in India at the starting price of Rs. 15.49 Lakh (Ex-Showroom), the price is introductory and the company is yet to reveal the full price list. The most noticeable update is the fresh face of the Harrier, featuring a new grille and a split headlight design, accompanied by a full-width LED light bar that stretches above the grille. The front bumper is equally noteworthy, divided into two distinct sections, with a glossy black band marking the division.

While the Harrier’s profile remains relatively unchanged, the alloy wheels capture attention. With new designs, Tata offers 18-inch and 19-inch options, with the latter reserved for the Dark edition variants. At the rear, the Harrier facelift boasts a revised bumper and updated tail-lamp housing. These changes result in a slimmer appearance compared to the previous model, mirroring the aesthetics of the Harrier EV displayed at Auto Expo 2023. Step inside the revamped Harrier, and you’ll notice a significant overhaul.

Tata has done away with the faux wood trim, opting for a mix of materials, including a textured top panel, gloss black surfaces, and leatherette padding with contrast stitching. A slim strip of LED ambient lighting all elegantly underlines these features. The Harrier offers two touchscreen options for infotainment, a choice between a 10.25-inch and a 12.3-inch screen, depending on the trim. Additionally, it features a touch-based panel for the HVAC controls, reminiscent of the design seen in the new Nexon and Nexon.ev models.

As for features, the Harrier facelift is well-equipped. It boasts a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new four-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata Motors logo, a revised drive selector for automatic variants, dual-zone climate control, a 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system, panoramic sunroof, and more. Safety is paramount, with up to seven airbags, ADAS, hill-hold control, seat belt reminders for all passengers, and more. Under the hood, the Harrier facelift retains its 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine, mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Tata Motors has also adjusted the suspension setup to enhance its performance on Indian roads.
