Skoda Kushaq Might Get New Features

Skoda showcased the Kushaq Explorer concept at this year’s annual conference. The company has yet to confirm whether we can expect a production version of the Explorer concept but we can expect some of the features on this concept version to be introduced in future Kushaq models as either part of an update or a new limited edition variant. When compared to the current model, the Explorer Edition comes with a head-up display, 360-degree camera and sun blinds in the second row, which will be helpful in current weather conditions.

Most of these features are already offered by the rivals from Korea as it is popular among customers too. The 360-degree camera and second-row sun blinds are really useful as it helps the driver a lot. Skoda recently introduced a special edition model on the Slavia which offered some new cosmetic updates, which gives a special look for the sedan. We can expect a similar treatment on the Kushaq too as it competes head-on against models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

The Kushaq Explorer Concept is finished in a unique matte green shade, the Creta also offered a similar Khaki Green colour on the earlier model. Apart from this, the wheels on the Explorer Concept are slightly bigger than the production model and they are off-road spec tyres too. Skoda also added some orange elements on the front, side and rear to spice up the model. The same green element is also added on the centre console and AC vents. If Skoda decides to introduce the Explorer Concept, it will make the model stand out.
