Renault To Launch Five New Cars In Next Three Years

Renault is gearing up for its next phase in the Indian market as the company is planning to introduce new models across the portfolio to continue the positive growth. The French manufacturer will launch five new models in the next three years in the Indian market. Among these five models include updates for the Triber and Kiger as the former has been in the market for more than four years while the latter just completed two years. Both these models are facing stiff competition from rivals across different segments.

The company hasn’t given details about the launch timeline but we can expect the Triber to get the first update as it is the oldest model soon followed by the Kiger. In the product planning image, it is mentioned as next-generation models so we can expect a comprehensive change on the outside and inside. Apart from this, Renault will launch one B+ and C SUV in the Indian market as the latter is going to be the next-generation Duster, which made its global debut just before the end of last year.

Renault is yet to reveal its version as it is branded as Dacia in European markets. The Duster was one of the most popular models in the Indian market during its existence thanks to its rugged design theme and off-road characters. The new model is expected to be a lot more advanced and it comes with a CMF-B platform. The fifth model in the Renault plans is an electric car but the company hasn’t given much details except that it will be localized to keep costs down but the launch could take place after the launch of the new Duster.
