By The emission norms all around the world are becoming more stringent as governments are pushing towards electric vehicles to reduce pollution and this increases the cost of internal combustion engines which is why most manufacturers are moving away from hatchback models as they are not able to sell them at an affordable price for the targeted customers. But Hyundai is taking a different direction as European Chief Michael Cole confirmed they are committed to hatchbacks. The Korean manufacturer will develop the next generation of i10, i20 and i30 as the company doesn’t want to walk away from these customers. In future, these models are going to be electrified to meet the emission requirements. The i10 and i20 are selling really well in Europe and other markets along with the i30 too. The i20 N is one of the most popular sporty hatchbacks in Europe.
