By Tata Motors officially launched the Nexon.ev facelift in September this year but some of the dealerships across the country still have some unsold stocks of the pre-facelift model. According to new reports, Tata Motors is offering more than 2.60 lakh discounts on the pre-facelift Nexon EV models as they want to clear these stocks before the end of this year. The pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime variants come with a Rs. 1.40 lakh cash discount along with a Rs. 50,000 exchange bonus, which takes the total benefits to 1.90 lakh.
The Nexon EV Prime Max variants come with a cash discount of up to Rs. 2.10 lakh along with Rs. 50,000, which takes the total discount up to Rs. 2.60 lakh. Apart from these discounts, the company hasn’t announced any other offers or schemes. But these discounts are certainly really high and the pre-facelift Nexon EVs are really good options for customers who are planning to buy a compact electric SUV. These offers depend on the availability of stock across dealerships and offers could differ from cities.
The company is also offering discounts on the facelift model but it is available only on selected variants. The Fearless+ and Fearless+ S variant, which is the middle variant of the Nexon EV comes with benefits of up to Rs. 35,000 as it is available on both Medium Range and Long Range. The medium-range electric powertrain delivers 129 HP and 215 Nm of torque, while the long-range version produces 142 HP and 215 Nm of torque. Surprisingly, the power output remains consistent, with torque levels seeing a reduction of 30 Nm and 38 Nm, respectively. The Nexon EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of 150 km/hr.
