Nissan is currently depending on one product to sustain itself in the competitive Indian automotive market as the success of Magnite has certainly helped the Japanese manufacturer to a great extent. Now the company is working on the facelift version of Magnite and it is expected to hit the market by the middle of 2024 nothing much is known about the upcoming model but we could certainly expect the design theme to be slightly different it could be in line with other global products from Nissan.

The headlamps along with the bumper and grille could be different while the changes to the side include new alloy wheels while the rear gets updated tail lamps and a new bumper. The interior certainly needs an update as the dashboard is likely to get a new touchscreen infotainment system with updated software while the instrument cluster could also get an update with better features. Nissan might add some new features to the Magnite facelift model like a premium-branded music system, leather seats and more.

The mechanicals of the Magnite will be the same as it is one of the USPs of the SUV. The turbo and non-turbo engines are extremely good while the gearbox options give diverse options for the customer. Currently, the company sells around 25,000 – 30,000 units and they are planning to manufacture left-hand drive units in India as the Chennai capacity is under-utilised. The manufacturing of left-hand drive models will certainly help the company to increase the overall production to 40,000 units initially and later to 50,000 units.
