Maruti Suzuki Unveiled The Brezza With CNG

Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Brezza with a CNG powertrain and a new matte black colour edition at the 2023 auto expo. The Brezza will be the first compact SUV from the brand to come with factory-fitted CNG. The Brezza was powered only by a petrol engine. In the scenario of rising fuel prices, the CNG powertrain would largely help the manufacturer to target customers who are looking for fuel efficiency and it is expected that the Brezza CNG will provide a fuel efficiency of 26 km per litre.

The Brezza CNG will be powered by the 1.5 litre dual jet engine same as the Ertiga CNG. And it is expected to give a power output of the same 100hp and 136Nm in petrol-only mode and 88hp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode. The vehicle didn’t have any changes in the cosmetic look. The CNG version is distinguished by a CNG badging at the rear. However, over the inside, the boot space will be eaten up by the CNG fuel tank. Rest everything will remain same.

The manufacturer also showcased the new matte black colour edition of the Brezza at the autoexpo. However the new matte colour is not confirmed to launch in India but the new colour edition looks really beautiful with the vehicle and it enhances the over all stance of the vehicle. The matte black colour was showcased in the Grand Vitara also.
