By Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the flagship SUV Grand Vitara in new stealth black colour at the 2023 auto expo. Maruti has recently brought the new glossy black colour edition to the Nexa models as the company is celebrating its 40 th anniversary. However new stealth black colour edition was shown only in the Grand Vitara and the manufacturer didn’t confirm to launch of the new colour in India. The new matte black colour looks really beautiful with the Grand Vitara. If Maruti launches the colour in the Grand Vitara it will available only with high-end variants Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha and Alpha+.
The matte black colour is also expected to come in other Nexa models including XL6, Baleno, Ignis and Ciaz. However the new edition will also comes with some added cosmetic package to enhance the stance of the vehicle. As of now the new matte black colour is only on the show car and it is expected to launch by the car in all Nexa models. The Grand Vitara rival Kia Seltos also comes with a matte black colour in its X line variant. There is no any updation on the engine. The Grand Vitara is powered by 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission and mild-hybrid system that produces 103 ps power and 137 Nm of torque. The vehicle is also powered by Toyota-sourced 1.5-litre petrol engine that, combined with the hybrid system, makes 116PS power and 141 Nm of torque.
