Limited Edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Officially Revealed

Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the Shotgun 650, a limited-edition masterpiece set to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts. Limited to just 25 units, this exclusive offering will be available exclusively to attendees of the MotoVerse festival, adding an extra layer of rarity to its allure. One of the standout features of the Shotgun 650 is its meticulously crafted, hand-painted intricate design, a unique touch that provides a glimpse into the craftsmanship Royal Enfield has dedicated to this special edition. While the exact paintwork won’t carry over to the production model, it serves as a preview of the artistic precision that will define the production-spec Shotgun.

Adapting to the altered wheel sizes and weight distribution, the suspension of the Shotgun has been thoroughly revised. Notably, the production version of the Shotgun will come equipped with a pillion seat, easily removable to transform it into a solo-seater, mirroring the showcased custom build. In terms of design, the Shotgun leans more towards a roadster aesthetic, featuring chopped fenders and bar-end mirrors, diverging from the retro cruiser style of the Super Meteor 650. Ergonomically, the Shotgun stands out with mid-mounted footpegs and a flatter handlebar, delivering a distinct riding experience.

Underneath its bespoke exterior, the Shotgun shares its core with the Super Meteor 650, boasting the same 648cc parallel-twin engine and main frame. However, significant revisions have been made to the rest of the motorcycle. The engine has undergone a different state of tune to accommodate changes in weight and the introduction of new pea-shooter style exhausts. Although specific output figures are yet to be disclosed, expectations align with the performance standards set by other Royal Enfield 650s, with around 47hp and 52.3Nm.
