Kia is developing new Clavis and the company is testing the new prototype across different parts of the country. The latest spy shots come from Hyderabad and it reveals new details about the Clavis. The prototype showcases a design ethos characterized by its boxy silhouette and robust stance, echoing the modern aesthetic seen in Kia’s SUV lineup.
Safety takes center stage with the inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), front parking sensors, and a radar module suggesting a suite of safety features, including anticipated additions like six airbags, ABS, and a 360-degree camera. The Clavis aims to provide peace of mind for both drivers and passengers.
The interior boasts a Seltos-like digital instrument display seamlessly integrated with a sizable infotainment touchscreen. With features such as ventilated and powered front seats, drive modes, and a Bose audio system, Kia aims to elevate the driving experience to new heights.
In terms of performance, the Clavis offers both petrol and electric powertrains, catering to diverse consumer preferences. While the petrol variant is slated for a late-year debut, the electric variant is expected to join the lineup by mid-2025. Furthermore, a hybrid version might make an appearance in the future, reaffirming Kia’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. The Clavis is going to be positioned between Sonet and Seltos in the lineup.
