Jeep To Launch Meridian Facelift Later This Year In India

Jeep India is planning to expand its portfolio with the introduction of newer models as the company will soon launch the updated Wrangler later this month. According to new reports, the company is going to launch the updated Meridian in India later this year. The Meridian has yet to get any update since its launch as the Compass facelift model has been in the market for some time now. The facelift version of Meridian is likely to come with design changes, especially at the front and rear, which gives a new look to the SUV.

The headlamps of Meridian will be changed along with an updated grille and a new bumper. The hood might also get small tweaks while the changes to the side will be limited to just a new set of alloy wheels. The rear gets new tail lamps and an updated bumper. Jeep will introduce new colour options with the Meridian facelift model. The interior is expected to be the same but the company will make slight changes, especially the new colour options. We can expect Jeep to offer limited edition top variants like the Night Eagle Edition.

The Meridian facelift will come with features like front and rear dashcams, dual-zone climate control, adjustable second and third-row seats, wireless charger, ambient lights and more. The infotainment system is expected to be retained as the current one with a 10.2-inch unit but the software is expected to be new as it could come from Wrangler. The instrument cluster is likely to be updated with a new design theme. Jeep Meridian continues to be powered by a 2.0 L diesel engine with 170 PS and 350 Nm, mated to manual and automatic gearbox options.
