By Jaguar announced that bookings have been opened for the new F-Pace in India. With an assertive new exterior, beautifully crafted all-new interior, latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment and the choice of in-line four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, the new Jaguar F-PACE is more luxurious, connected and efficient. The deliveries of the new F-Pace will begin from next month onwards and the price is expected to be announced soon.
The updated F-Pace retains the same design theme as the earlier model but the company has made some changes like an updated front grille with a new bumper. The side gets new alloy wheels while the changes to the rear are limited to a new bumper. The major changes happened in the interior as the company updated the F-Pace to be in line with other models. The steering wheel is the new three-spoke unit, which we have seen on the XE and i-Pace.
The centre console also gets an updated look to be modern. Earlier the F-Pace was only offered in Prestige variant but this time the company is offering the R-Dynamic S. Some of the features on new model includes 11.4-inch touch screen infotainment replaced the earlier 10-inch unit with updated software of Jaguar and it gets connected car features, which is a must in modern cars. Along with this, a 360-degree camera is also offered on the F-Pace.
The instrument cluster is a new 12.3 inch unit with high-definition graphics. The diesel engine was discontinued during the BS6 transformation and the company has confirmed that the diesel engine will make a return but the details haven’t been released as it will be the 2.0 L unit and the petrol engine is also going to be a 2.0 L unit. These engines will be mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox and the updated model is expected to be costlier by around 2 lakh.
