By Citroen officially launched the much-awaited new C5 Aircross in India. The premium SUV comes in two variants – Feel and Shine. The entry-level Feel variant price starts at Rs. 29.90 Lakh, Feel Dual Tone – Rs. 30.40 Lakh and the Shine comes at Rs. 31.90 Lakh (All-Prices, Ex-Showroom). The company has announced that these prices are introductory and it will increase sometime in the future. The customers who pre-booked get some exclusive packages too.
Even before the launch, Citroen opened 10 dealerships across India, which is known as La Maison – The Home of Citroen. All these dealerships focus on both physical and digital experience. The company has also announced that customers can book the C5 Aircross from the official website and the SUV can be delivered at the doorstep of the customer as they don’t need to visit the dealership for anything, which makes them unique.
Citroen is also focusing on service as they offer Service Promise, which includes anytime anywhere access, virtual remote diagnosis, periodic maintenance and service with pick-up and drop, remote service job opening and more. The company also announced Service On Wheels, which is a unique way to reach customers who are in a remote place. Another USP of the brand is going to be its 360 Comfort Package, which will make the experience even more unique.
The C5 Aircross comes with an advanced suspension system, which gives the feel of Magic Carpet Ride and it is one of the best in the industry also. The SUV is assembled at its Chennai plant and the engines come from the Hosur Plant. Citroen C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0 L diesel engine with 177 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard with various modes.
