Hyundai Verna SX Middle Variant Spotted For The First Time

Hyundai is going to launch the next-generation Verna tomorrow in the Indian market. The company has already commenced the production of Verna at its Chennai plant and the dealer dispatch also commenced last week. We have seen several spy shots of Verna at dealership yards and the latest set of spy shots reveals the mid-spec SX variant, which misses out on several features compared to the top-end model but is still loaded compared to the competition.

The SX variant spotted is finished in black exterior colour as the front and rear have full LED lights which we have seen on the top-end models but the side is not yet seen on the images so we think that alloy wheels might be different. The interior gets a black and beige colour theme and the screen size looks smaller but they get a similar design to the top-end model. Even ambient lights, multi-function steering wheels, climate control, traction control, and reverse camera are all offered.

Some of the major features missing are ADAS, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, leather seats, and sunroof to name a few. The Verna will come with 30 safety features as the standard and the top-end model will get up to 65 safety features including ADAS. The Korean manufacturer offers petrol engines only with Verna as the 1.5 L naturally aspirated unit and a 1.5 L turbo petrol engine with automatic and manual gearbox options.
