By Hyundai officially launched a new Sport trim option in Venue along with iMT as it is the first model in India to offer this new transmission. Kia’s upcoming Sonet will also come with this transmission option. The Sport package is available across all engine options as the company has given gloss-black grille with red accent, dark-grey roof rails, red-brake calliper and Sport badge placed on the C-pillar. The Venue Sport is also available in new dual-tone grey with phantom black colour for the roof.
The interior changes for the Venue Sport include a new steering wheel, which comes from the Creta along with red accents on the buttons and seats. Apart from that, the Venue gets a sporty deal and it retains the black colour theme. The Venue Sport is loaded with lots of features like touch screen infotainment system, reverse camera with parking sensors, alloy wheels, electrically adjustable mirrors, sunroof and many more.
The Venue Sport is available in SX and SX (O) trim on the turbo petrol with iMT and diesel engine option but it is available only in SX variant with DCT Turbo petrol engine. Hyundai also introduced the Venue with the i-MT transmission, which features a Transmission Gear Shift (TGS) Lever with Intention Sensor, Hydraulic Actuator and Transmission Control Unit (TCU). The system has been designed to offer a seamless Drive Experience by incorporating a cohesive logic between the various components on manual transmissions.
