Hyundai Updates Verna With More Features

Hyundai updated the Verna with more features as the sedan now comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as it is the first model in this segment to come with this feature. The company already offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on all other variants except for the base trim but the wireless feature is not available on the top-spec SX (O) as the infotainment system is different from other variants as it gets bluelink connected tech.

The wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay feature are already available on other Hyundai models like the i20 and Creta. The Verna comes with an 8-inch screen as standard across the variants but the quality of the top-end variant is slightly better. The 1.5 L petrol engine was earlier available on the S variant and it has been discontinued but the engine is now available on the S+ variant as earlier it only came with a diesel engine option.

Hyundai Verna S variant comes with features like dual airbags, ABS, a front USB charger, dual-tone styled steel wheels, manual AC, Arkamys sound system cooled glovebox and more while the SX variant gets a wireless phone charger, cruise control, projector headlamps, auto headlamps, alloy wheels, a sunroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rearview camera with parking sensors, rear AC-vents, connected car tech and more.

While the only change between the S and S+ variant is the wheel as the S comes with 15-inch wheels while the S+ get 16-inch. The 1.5 L naturally aspirated petrol engine gets 115 PS while the 1.5 L diesel engine also produces the same power output. The 1.0 L turbo petrol engine is the most powerful in the lineup with 120 hp and transmission options include a 6-speed manual, CVT, Torque convertor and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
