Ducati Streetfighter V4 Launched at Rs. 19.99 Lakh

Ducati finally launched the much-awaited naked street-monster Streetfighter in India at the starting price of Rs. 19.99 lakh for the V4 and Rs. 22.99 lakh for the V4 S. The company has already commenced bookings for the performance bike across the country and deliveries are expected to begin later this year. The Streetfighter V4 made its global debut a couple of years ago and the model has been so popular among enthusiasts.

The heart of Streetfighter V4 comes from the Panigale V4 as it is powered by a Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, a 1,103cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit that produces 205 hp at 12,750 rpm and 124 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Another impressive thing about the Streetfighter V4 is its power-to-weight ratio as the naked monster tips the scale at just 178 kgs, which will help the riders to manage the motorcycle easily.

The Streetfighter V4 comes with three riding modes – Race, Sport and Street. The company has also packed the naked monster with lots of electronics to make the ride safer and it includes – 6-axis Intertial Measurement Unit (IMU), ABS Cornering EVO, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Slide Control (DSC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, and Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) EVO.

Ducati is expected to offer the Panigale V4 in two colour options – Dark Stealth and Ducati Red. The Dark Stealth certainly gives an aggressive look for the performance bike radiator, engine sump guard, exhaust canister, and footrests are finished on aluminium while all other parts get a black finish. The Streetfighter V4 is designed in the wind tunnel, which is why the winglets are positioned in such a way to add more downforce.
