Hyundai Creta Fuel Efficiency Figures Officially Revealed

Hyundai officially launched the Creta facelift earlier this week and now the company has officially revealed the fuel efficiency figures. The Creta is available with two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol engines are 1.5 L naturally aspirated units and 1.5 L turbo petrol units while the diesel engine is the same 1.5 L unit from the earlier model. The gearbox options include manual, CVT, Torque Convertor and dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The most efficient model in Creta’s lineup is the diesel manual variant as it returns 21.81 kmpl. When compared to the diesel manual variant of the Kia Seltos, the Creta is more efficient as the Seltos returns 20.7 Kmpl. The diesel automatic variant of the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta both returns the same mileage, which is 19.1 kmpl. The Creta 1.5 L NA petrol manual variant returns 17.4 kmpl and when compared to Seltos with the same engine, the Creta is more efficient.

The 1.5 L NA petrol automatic of the Hyundai Creta returns 17.7 kmpl which is the same as Kia Seltos but the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder are more efficient. Hyundai is offering the Creta turbo petrol with an automatic gearbox only as it returns 18.4 kmpl which is more than the Seltos as it returns 17.9 Kmpl but the Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq are more efficient. We will soon test the Hyundai Creta to find out the real-world mileage.
