Honda Officially Launched NX500 In India At Rs. 5.90 Lakh

Honda officially launched the NX500 in India at Rs 5.90 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The company officially commenced bookings for the motorcycle yesterday and the booking amount is Rs. 10,000. The dealership dispatch will start this week as the deliveries are expected to begin in February. The CB500 comes to India via the CBU route which is why the adventure motorcycle is priced at a premium and it was expected from the Japanese manufacturer.

Honda NX500 replaces the CB500X in Honda’s lineup and it is available in three color options – White, Black, and Red. The company officially revealed the NX500 at 2023 EICMA and the design theme is one of the highlights as it looks like a proper adventure motorcycle. The company has given a big visor as it protects the rider from windblast. The NX500 comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster and it comes loaded with lots of information for the rider.

The adventure motorcycle also comes with a smartphone connectivity option as the rider will able to get navigation and other updates directly on the cluster. The suspension duties are taken care of by USD forks at the front and pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by dual 296 mm disc brakes at the front and 240 mm disc at the rear. The NX500 is powered by a 471 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine producing 47.5 bhp and 43 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
