Hyundai Creta Facelift With 1.5 L Diesel Spotted Testing

Hyundai Creta is the best-selling model in its segment and the Korean manufacturer is planning to bring an update for the popular model. We have seen test mules of the Creta in different parts of the world and the latest images come from South Korea. The test mule spotted is powered by the 1.5 L diesel engine which is going to be a very important option as Creta and Seltos are the only models in the segment to currently offer this option while others are moved to either petrol-only or hybrid powertrain, which is really good for people who have less running.

The test mule spotted is completely covered but we can make out some things as the front gets a new grille along with updated LED headlamps and bumper. We can expect Hyundai to take design inspiration from its premium models as the design theme could be similar to what we have seen on the new Tucson. The changes to the side are basically limited to the new set of alloy wheels as sheet metal changes will be scheduled for the big update. The rear gets new LED tail lamps along with a re-worked bumper.

The interior design is likely to get a major revamp and it could again be inspired by the new Sante Fe. Like the current model, Hyundai will pack the Creta facelift with lots of features like a big touch-screen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof and the big new feature is going to be the level-II ADAS as the Seltos already offer it. Apart from this, the engine lineup will same as the current model. Hyundai is expected to introduce the updated Creta next year in India.
