One of the major changes is the introduction of the new black theme across the body as it gives a striking visual look to the motorcycle. TVS logo on the motorcycle is finished in black colour as the only colour theme we can see on the motorcycle is the Apache and RTR 160 4V stickers which are finished on different colour. The forks and exhausts are also finished in the black theme as the company has given the same treatment for the engine too. Both these motorcycles get these same changes.
The Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 159.7cc single-cylinder engine from the regular model as it produces 15.82bhp of power and 13.85Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and comes with three ride modes – Rain, Urban and Sport. TVS also offers SmartXonnect with voice assist. The Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a 159.7cc, oil-cooled engine producing 17.31bhp and 14.73Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. TVS Apache RTR 160 Black Edition is priced at Rs. 1.20 Lakh and Rs. 1.23 Lakh for the Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition.
