Hyundai Alcazar Bolsters Safety: Now Standard with Six Airbags

Hyundai has recently made a significant enhancement to its safety features. All variants of Hyundai cars sold in India will now come equipped with six airbags as a standard feature, reinforcing their commitment to passenger safety. This announcement follows the inclusion of six airbags in the Aura, Grand i10 Nios, and the Venue, and the Hyundai Alcazar is the latest model to receive this safety upgrade. The Hyundai Alcazar, which previously offered two airbags in some of its variants, now ensures that all variants provide enhanced protection with six airbags.

This change places Hyundai as a trailblazer in the Indian automotive industry, becoming the first automobile brand to offer six airbags as standard across its entire range. Hyundai’s dedication to safety is further underscored by recent achievements in crash tests. The new-gen Verna was awarded a prestigious five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test, reaffirming Hyundai’s commitment to producing vehicles that provide the highest level of safety to its customers.

Looking ahead, Hyundai plans to subject additional models to the rigorous Bharat NCAP crash tests, with the results expected to be unveiled from December 15, 2023, onwards. With the inclusion of six airbags as standard in the Hyundai Alcazar and across their entire lineup, Hyundai is setting a new standard for safety in the Indian automotive market. This move not only demonstrates their dedication to passenger safety but also provides potential buyers with the assurance that Hyundai cars prioritize their well-being on the road.
