Honda Cars India joins hands with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation

Honda has joined forces with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), a distinguished Government of India Maharatna Energy Company, to introduce an exclusive fuel reward loyalty program tailored for users of the Honda Connect application. Honda Connect, an intelligent and sophisticated connected car technology platform provided by HCIL, offers a suite of features such as car location tracking, car health status monitoring, trip details, service booking, mileage insights, and crucial alerts for customers. In a bid to enhance customer convenience, HCIL has collaborated with HPCL to integrate their payment app, HP Pay, into the Honda Connect ecosystem, creating a secure, contactless, and efficient digital payment and loyalty solution that caters to both mobility and energy requirements.

Through this partnership, Honda customers can seamlessly enroll for the “HP Pay” application using the “Fuel Pay” option within the Honda Connect app. By doing so, they gain access to a host of benefits and conveniences, including an additional 25% fuel reward points on their motor fuel purchases at HPCL fuel stations, in addition to the regular HP Pay reward points. Earning loyalty points is as simple as providing the registered mobile number during refueling at HPCL fuel stations. These accumulated loyalty points can later be redeemed as Wallet Balance or converted into a unique Paycode, which can be utilized for fuel purchases at HPCL stations. This innovative feature is set to go live on the Honda Connect application starting September 4th, 2023.
