Hero Xtreme 125R Launched In India At Rs. 95,000

Hero officially launched the Xtreme 125R in the Indian market at the starting price of Rs. 95,000 and goes all the way up to Rs. 99,500 (Both Prices, Ex-Showroom). The Xtreme 125R is a sporty commuter motorcycle and the main highlight is the sporty styling which is different from other commuter motorcycles of Hero. The headlamp design of the Xtreme 125R follows the same path as the Xtreme 200R and comes with an LED headlamp. While the indicators are also full LED units.

The fuel tank design has lots of cuts and curves with a bulky theme to it. This makes the Xtreme 125R stand out from the competitors and the footpegs appear to be positioned slightly sporty. The company has given a split seat set-up in which the pillion seat is positioned slightly taller. The Xtreme 125R gets an LED tail lamp and split grab rails. The Xtreme 125R comes with a single-piece handlebar and the instrument cluster is digital. Hero is offering the Xtreme 125R in three colour options – red with black, blue with silver and black.

Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 11.5 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension duties are taken care of by 37 mm front forks and pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear, which is supplied by Showa. The commuter motorcycle gets a 276 mm disc at the front and a rear drum brake. Hero is offering single-channel ABS on top-end variants and IBS (Combi-Braking System) on other variants.
