Hero Mavrick 440 Officially Revealed

Hero officially revealed the Mavrick 440 after a lengthy teaser campaign. The Mavrick 440 is based on the same platform as Harley Davidson X440 but the company has given a different design theme. The front gets a round LED headlamp with a H LED DRL in the middle and round indicators. The fuel tank gets a muscular design theme and the company has given a single-piece seat for the Mavrick 440 but it has been scooped out for the rider. The rear gets a new LED tail lamp and the design is a bit different than the X440.

The handlebar is a single-piece unit which is positioned slightly higher compared to other models while the instrument cluster is a fully digital unit with lots of information for the rider. Hero offers smartphone connectivity with the Mavrick 440 as it gets turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and call alerts. One of the major differences between the Mavrick 440 and X440 is that Hero has 43 mm telescopic forks at the front instead of USD and the wheels are 17-inch at the front and rear while the Harley gets 18-inch and 17-inch wheels option.

Hero is offering three variants with Mavrick 440 – Base, Mid and Top. The entry-level variant gets spoke wheels and it is available in a single Arctic White colour. The middle variant of the Mavrick 440 comes with alloy wheels and in two colour options – Celestial Blue and Fearless Red. The top variant comes with machined alloy wheels and in two colours – Phantom Black and Enigma Black. The Mavrick 440 is powered by a 440 cc single-cylinder engine producing 27 hp and 36 Nm, which is more than X440. The bookings for the Mavrick 440 start on February 20 and deliveries commence in April.
