By BMW officially launched the much-awaited M2 in India at Rs. 98 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The M2 will be offered in a single top-spec variant with so many options for the customers and it will come via the CBU route. The M2 is powered by the 3.0-litre twin-power petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 460 hp and 550 Nm of Torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox, which is why this particular version of M2 is so special in the Indian market.
We usually get an automatic gearbox and it’s very rare to get a manual. 0-100 kph in 4.1 sec and top speed is limited to 250 kph, sad that we don’t get a performance pack to unlock the top speed. The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features dynamic power delivery and the characteristic throaty M engine sound. BMW will offer the M2 in Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Toronto Red and Zandvoort Blue.
