BMW 3 Series Facelift Showcased In India, Launch Soon

BMW showcased the 3 series facelift in India for the first time at the 2023 Joytown festival in Mumbai. The updated model has been showcased alongside other models from BMW and the launch is likely to take place at the Bangalore edition of Joytown, which is going to take place later this month. The 3 Series is a very significant vehicle in the brand lineup all around the world that brought the real fun and joy of driving in the affordable segment of the luxury car market.

The updated M340i was launched in India on December 2022 at the first Joytown festival of the brand in Delhi. However the 3 series facelift showcased gets a design refresh both inside and outside the vehicle now gets more sharp lines and creases on the exterior with a tweaked bumper with L-shaped corner vents and a new headlight unit with a new inverted L-shaped DRL, luckily the grille isn’t bigger. The exterior of the vehicle looks sporty and very muscular. The interior of the vehicle will feature the new design language of the vehicle with a curved single display that integrates the Infotainment display and instrument cluster. The infotainment is expected to get the updated idrive system.

However, the powertrain of the vehicle is not yet revealed. It is expected to carry over the 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 255 bhp and 400 Nm of torque and the 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 187 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Both the engines are matted to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The carmaker is likely to launch both the 3 Series and 3 series grand limo soon in the market.
